Spirit of Place refers to the architectural idea of genius loci or the essence of a place. The collection is about two places that connect deeply with our souls: Ocean, with its fierce turbulence, restorative and cleansing power, and City, with its vibrant, magnetic energy.
Each piece in this collection has been carefully crafted to capture the spirit of these places and designed to be worn every day. They serve as a remembrance of places we hold dear to our hearts.
The Spirit of Place collection is inspired by Selling Sunset’s Amanza Smith and the places she feels most connected to — the ocean and the city. We’ve captured the spirit of these places through an intricately designed and meticulously handwoven collection.

Ocean is the spirit of strength, resilience and turbulence. It is forceful, majestic, unyielding and yet also nourishing and life-giving. Ocean is woven into a pattern of the crashing surf, carrying the deep blues of aquamarine, indigo and turquoise, with flecks of gold like sunlight dancing on the waves, to the coppery tones of sand and shore.
City is the spirit of all the places we’ve dwelled in, layered in a pattern that represents streets, boulevards, highways, dotted with buildings. It is a view from afar, abstract, distanced without the chaos and noise of life and traffic below.
